House Expectations
Accountability, structure, and healthy routines built for lasting recovery.
Standards Built to Protect Your Sobriety
Our guidelines are designed to help you rebuild discipline, confidence, and trust with yourself and your loved ones.
1. Absolute Sobriety & Substance-Free Living
Zero tolerance for alcohol, illicit drugs, or unprescribed narcotics. Regular and random drug and alcohol screenings are conducted to safeguard the safety, peace, and accountability of everyone in our homes.
2. Active Recovery Program
Residents are required to participate actively in a recognized recovery pathway—such as 12-Step meetings (AA/NA/Celebrate Recovery), working with a sponsor or mentor, or attending outpatient recovery care.
3. Meaningful Productivity
To build lasting self-sufficiency, residents must be employed full/part-time, actively looking for work, enrolled in school or trade programs, or volunteering in the community.
4. House Meetings & Community Chores
Weekly house meeting attendance is mandatory for community connection and mutual encouragement. Residents rotate daily chores to keep our home clean, peaceful, and orderly.
5. Curfews & Structured Daily Routine
Curfew policies maintain healthy sleep rhythms and accountability. Curfew flexibility is earned as residents advance through phases of residency and demonstrate sustained recovery.
6. Mutual Respect & Dignity
We treat every fellow resident and staff member with kindness, courtesy, and respect. At Hands 2 Help, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to begin again.
